The Freudian Slip

A Sunday in April but it sure felt like Christmas. I’d come back from the SLN beurs with my shiny new digital track and laid out this beauty.

It’s an example of the fun you can have with digital. Imagine putting a car on the outside lane, top right. 2 laps later you’re on the inside lane. Cool!

The eagle eyed will notice that the corner lane change is switched to an in-to-out in the track plan. In the photo, once you’ve reached the inside lane there’s no way of getting back out again! But then again nobody is going to take that lane change, in-to-out is the opposite of the racing line. Ah the fun you can have with digital 😂

Neither my father nor brother-in-law were interested in doing a few laps with me that not-Christmas night. Perhaps my digital journey was cursed from the start.
